Elementary (3-5)

Third graders are taught both English and Math while focusing on enriching their vocabulary and problem solving skills.

Preparation for the NY State Exams and school tests are covered as well.

Students are engaged in a friendly atmosphere to promote team building and social skills.

Fourth graders are also taught both English and Math. We focus on enhancing their vocabulary usage by reading passages and writing essays. Students are taught test taking strategies and common core math.

Preparation for the NY State Exam and school tests are covered as well. 

Fifth graders are taught English and Math, mainly focusing on vocabulary and topics learned in school. We like to challenge students by introducing them to algebraic problem solving and common core math.

Students residing in New York learn topics included in the SHSAT and Hunter Exam.

Students are engaged in challenging questions through the website Kahoot!, where they compete who gets the most points based on how many answers they get correct. 

These quizzes tests how well students contain the information they learned in class, such as vocabulary or math questions.

Contents in the Kahoot quizzes are personally made by staff.
